На шості роковини кривавих подій на Майдані під час Революції Гідності, український народ згадує та вшановує загиблих. У період з 18 по 21 лютого 2014 загинули більше 100 героїв, десятки зникли, більше тисячі дістали поранення, сотні були піддані тортурам.
В Чикаго українська громада поминальну програму відбула 21-го лютого. Панахиду на майданчику музею відправили отці душпастері отці Сергій Ковальчук та Роман Бобесюк з Української Греко-Католицької Катедри св. Миколая та протоіерей Православної Катедри св. Володимира, Іван Лимар. Ліда Ткачук, президент Українського Національного Музею, та Ігор Дячун, голова УККА-Відділу Іллинойс відкрили програму яка розпочалася при сотні свічок у пам’ять загиблих, а опісля громада перейшла до музею, де відбувся концерт-реквіум. Виступали талановиті молоденькі музиканти члени громади Юля Перехожук, Мирослав Михайленко, Назарій Михайленко, Назар Карабінович, Єбангенлина Бут, Іван Шміло, та заслужений актор Йосиф Миколяш. Вони створили містичну атмосферу, ніби всі відчували присутність незабутних героїв Небесної Сотні. В час всіх музичних виступів на екрані відображено сцени з Майдану. Була атмосфера надзвичайної тиші і вшанування. Герої не вмирають! – клич який став реальністю. Було підтвердження того, що Революція Гідності на Майдані та Небесна Сотня змінили курс історії України та історії світу назавжди.

On the sixth anniversary of the bloody killings that took place on the Maidan between February 18 and 21, 2014 during the Revolution of Dignity, Ukrainians throughout the world remember and honor the victims. More than 100 heroes were killed, dozens disappeared, and hundreds were tortured on those fateful days.
Chicago’s Ukrainian community commemorated this sixth anniversary of the tragic events on February 21 at the Ukrainian National Museum. A memorial ceremony with 100 candles was performed by the reverend Serhiy Kovalchuk and reverendRoman Bobesyuk from St. Nicholas Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral and pastor of St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral Ivan Lymar. Lida Tkachuk, president of the Ukrainian National Museum, and Ihor Diaczun, president of UCCA-Illinois Division opened the program, which began with hundreds of candles in memory of the victims. Then the community moved to the museum where a concert-requiem took place. Talented young musicians, members of the community Yulia Perezhuk, Myroslav Mykhailenko, Nazar Mykhaylenko, Nazar Karabinovich, Ebangenlin Booth, Ivan Shmilo, and Honored Actor Yosif Mykolyash performed. They created a mystical atmosphere, it was as if everyone felt the presence of the unforgettable heroes of the Heaven’s Hundred. Scenes from the Maidan were displayed throughout the musical performances on a large screen. There was an atmosphere of extraordinary silence and homage. Heroes do not die! - a cry that has become a reality. Truly these heroes will never die in the history of Ukraine. The Revolution of Dignity on the Maidan and the Heavenly Hundred changed the course of Ukrainian history and world history forever...
