The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, Kyiv Mohyla Foundation and Chicago Business and Professional Group  present the Distinguished Speakers Series with Alexander Motyl. Alexander Motyl  is professor of political science at Rutgers University-Newark, as well as a writer and painter.  A specialist on Ukraine, Russia, and the USSR, and on nationalism, revolutions, empires, and theory.

As part of the Distinguished Speakers Series David J. Kramer will speak on US-Russian and US-Ukrainian relations at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art on April 2, 2017. David Kramer was United States Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor from 2008 to 2009. He was President of Freedom House from October 2010 to November 2014.
