“Our Soul Never Dies” is an art exhibit dedicated to the memory of Eugenia Sakevych Dallas (1925-2014). The exhibit showcases her paintings, posters, and book, which reflect her life experiences, including the Genocide against Ukrainians in 1932-33. Through her struggles, Eugenia achieved significant accomplishments and triumphs. She was an exceptional woman who, as a child, survived the Genocide and rose to become a model in Europe and “lived the joy of freedom” in the United States, where she lectured about the Soviet-engineered Genocide, authored “One Woman Five Lives Five Countries,” and contributed to the U.S. Congressional investigation that declared the Holodomor a GENOCIDE. When alone, she painted cityscapes and rural scenes, reminding her of the many places she lived. These paintings brought her reflection and joy.
