Art Exhibit by Volodymyr Podlevsky and Svitlana Moiseieva

A marriage of art and life, the artists Volodymyr Podlevsky and Svitlana Moiseieva will exhibit their oil paintings in a joint showing at the Ukrainian National Museum. They are husband and wife and have both been classically trained in Ukraine. While their styles and techniques are different, the joy of life, nuances of Ukrainian culture and beauty is individually captured in their works.
Volodymyr Podlevsky was born in the Zhytomyr Region of Ukraine, in 1985 he finished the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. His artwork has been displayed in over 30 exhibits in the United States and Ukraine 1990-2016. Svitlana Moiseieva, Podlevskys wife, was born in Chernihiv, Ukraine. After completing the Chernihiv Academy of Art in 1990, she studied iconography at the St. Michael the Archangel Church. Her works can be found in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, and Western Europe.
The Ukrainian National Museum is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at 2249 West Superior Street in Chicago.
