On Monday, October 10th Chicago celebrated with a Columbus Day Parade. Columbus Day Parade is a huge annual event in Chicago in our city's famous street State Street. The Italian American community invited the Ukrainian community to participate. Channel 7 ABC TV covered the entire parade. Ukrainian Congress Committee of America participated and Hromovytsia Dance Ensemble dancers gave up their holiday to support the Ukrainians in the parade. Thank you to Motria Melnyk for the terrific banner for the occasion, thank you to Roxana Dykyj Pylypczak for organizing the dancers, thank you to Ihor Diaczun. All along State Streets people were lined up and when they saw our Ukrainian sign and flags they applauded and saluted with We Support Ukraine. Thank you to the Italian American leaders for their support of Ukraine.
