This non-partisan event was designed to educate voters on the impactful role they can play in shaping the future of both the United States and Ukraine. The webinar showcased an expert panel, including:
- Ambassador John E. Herbst – Senior Director of the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center and former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine (2003-2006) and Uzbekistan (2000-2003), with a 31-year career as a foreign service officer.
- Peter Roskam – Former U.S. Representative for Illinois's 6th congressional district, serving across six terms and working within both Republican and Democratic administrations.
- Oleksandra Ustinova – Ukrainian Member of Parliament, anti-corruption advocate, Chair of the Parliamentary Special Commission on Arms Control, and Chair of the Holos Fraction.
- Timofiy Milovanov – President of the Kyiv School of Economics, and Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh.
- Rye Barcott – Co-founder and CEO of With Honor Action, a cross-partisan nonprofit aimed at reducing polarization in Congress through veteran leadership.
The panel, joined by UCCA President Michael Sawkiw, UCCA's Andrij Dobriansky, and UCCA Illinois President Mariya Dmytriv-Kapeniak, explored three key topics: how Ukraine's victory could enhance U.S. security, uphold democratic freedoms, and strengthen the U.S. economy.
