Letter to Congressman Krishnamoorthi from UCCA Illinois
The executive board of UCCA Illinois Division wrote letters regarding sanctions to the Illinois Congressional delegation, including this letter to Congressman Krishnamoorthi. The board encourages all those invested in Ukrainian security and democracy to write to their members of Congress.

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi represents the Illinois' 8th Congressional District which covers the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, where many Ukrainian-Americans live, Schaumburg, Palatine, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Elgin, Hoffman Estates, Carpentersville, East Dundee, and others. He serves on the House Oversight Committtee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Congressman, thank you for agreeing to this interview. I noticed that your name is not on the roster of the Congressional Caucus on Ukraine. Will you become a member and join the Ukrainian Caucus?
Absolutely, and thank you for bringing this Caucus to my attention. As of this week, I am now officially a member of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus on Ukraine.

Ukrainian Congress Committee of America Illinois Division initiated Meet your Members of Congress – a new project. With the current situation of the Corona Virus preventing personal receptions, a ZOOM call was held with Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, who represents the 8th District of Illinois, where many Ukrainian-Americans live. This was the first meeting on ZOOM with a congressman, and others will follow, in an effort to advocate bipartisan support for Ukraine and for the interests of the Ukrainian-American community.
